I cannot buy the alpha/create an account through the demo launcher
Solution: Something is blocking access to the web server. Check your firewall settings. Also, try checking the control panel, internet options, connections tab, LAN settings: uncheck "Automatically detect settings" if checked.

Outerra displays "Failed to compile shader" message after latest Nvidia Driver Update

Solution: The problem is Nvidia`s fault. It will be probably resolved in the next driver update.
Please downgrade your drivers or wait for the next driver release from Nvidia.

Getting the following error message

Rendering of weird artifacts on sky/buggy stars on AMD Graphics Card
Solution: This is a bug that appears in all AMD Series 7XXX and below. It will be fixed soon in an Outerra patch.

Video Recorder crashes
Solution: Make sure you set stereo mix in audio recording devices as the default one.

The roads/buildings I placed are gone
Solution: Your edits are in your Outerra data directory (by def c:\users\yourname\Outerra), in the cache folder, which is not touched by the updates.
If you selected a non-standard data directory initially, please check if data.cfg file (in program dir) still refers to it.

Endless login after downloading new version
Solution: Start Outerra as Administrator.

Missing Textures
Solution: Please reinstall the full version from http://demo.outerra.com and let it update to the latest version.

Solution: It's a known bug with rendering opacity materials, waiting for an implementation of an order-independent blending.

Off-center screen/menus
Solution: Right-click on the Outerra sortcut icon, click "Properties", select the "Compatibility" tab and check the box next to "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

Getting the following error message

Solution: Make sure you have updated graphics drivers. Also, if you are running an older Outerra version, please download the latest full install from http://demo.outerra.com.
